Maintenance and upkeep of pillow packaging machines
Pillow-type packaging machines are suitable for large packaging of regularly shaped objects such as biscuits, mooncakes, bread, instant noodles, large packs of tissues, sanitary napkins, industrial parts, cardboard boxes, or pallets.
Maintenance of Pillow-Type Packaging Machines
1. Lubricate the gears, sprockets, and chains in the machine's rotating system with a light application of oil. Do not lubricate the timing belts and conveyor belts.
2. Lubricate the end-sealing bearings.
a. Check the tension of the chains and belts in the transmission components and tighten them if necessary.
b. Check the tightness of the screws and nuts on all components and tighten them if necessary.
c. Check the brushes for wear and wipe them clean if necessary.
3. Semi-annual maintenance and upkeep
a. Check the wear of the drive belts and conveyor belts and replace them if necessary.
b. Check all easily worn parts and replace them promptly.
c. Check the wear of all transmission components and replace them with new ones if necessary.
d. Inspect and tighten electrical wiring, and clean dust from all electrical components with compressed air.
