Guide to purchasing packaging machines

3

1. Packaging material characteristics: the material form (granules, powders, liquids, sauces, etc.), viscosity, fluidity, density, particle size distribution, etc. need to be considered. For example, for granular materials with good fluidity, a vibrating feeding granule packaging machine can be selected; for sauces with high viscosity, a piston type sauce packaging machine is required.

2. Packaging specifications: clarify the weight, volume, size and other specifications of the packaging. Small doses of powder ingredients may require a micro-packaging machine with high precision, while large packaging specifications of liquid ingredients require equipment with fast filling speed and large capacity.

3. Packaging speed: Determine the speed of the packaging machine according to the production scale and output requirements. Enterprises with large output should choose high-speed packaging machines, such as equipment that can package more than 50 bags per minute; those with small output can choose medium and low-speed packaging machines.

4. Packaging accuracy: Products with high requirements for ingredient weight or volume accuracy, such as pharmaceutical ingredients and high-end condiments, need to choose packaging machines with high metering accuracy, and their metering error can be controlled within ±0.5%.

5. Automation: Consider whether it needs to be linked with other production line equipment, as well as automatic loading, unloading, labeling, coding and other functions. Packaging machines with high automation can reduce labor costs and improve production efficiency and stability.

6. Hygiene requirements: The food industry has strict hygiene requirements. Packaging machines should use materials that meet food hygiene standards, such as 304 stainless steel, and the structural design should be easy to clean and disinfect, without sanitary dead corners.

7. Brand and after-sales service: Choose a brand and a manufacturer with good after-sales service. The quality and stability of its equipment are more guaranteed, and it can provide timely repair, maintenance, training and other services to reduce equipment failure downtime.
