Daily maintenance methods of PE heat shrink film packaging machine

PE shrink film packaging machines are widely used in the food, beverage, daily chemical, and pharmaceutical industries for sealing and shrinking product packaging. To ensure long-term, stable operation and minimize malfunctions, standard daily maintenance and care are required.

Daily Maintenance (After Each Use)

Cleaning the Machine Surface

Wipe the machine body with a soft cloth to remove dust, oil, and film residue.

Note: Avoid direct contact of water with electrical components (such as the control panel and motor).

Inspecting the Heat Shrink Oven (Shrink Channel)

Remove any remaining PE film fragments from the oven to prevent blockage or burns.

Inspect the heating element for proper operation (replace if blackened or deformed).

Inspect the Conveyor Belt

Clean any debris and adhesive stains from the conveyor belt to prevent slipping or deviation.

Check the belt tension and adjust the tensioner if necessary.

Inspect the Cutter and Sealing Unit

Clean any film residue from the sealing blade to ensure a smooth seal.

Inspect the Cutter for sharpness; replace if blunt. Check the air system (if using a pneumatic model).

Check that the air pressure is stable (usually 0.4-0.6 MPa).

Drain any accumulated water from the air filter to prevent clogging of the air valve.
